Strengthening International Cooperation in Horticulture

On November 1, 2021, an important meeting took place between Ms. Levi Sap Nei Thang with two officers of Horticulture Association and Jože Podgoršek, the Minister of Agriculture of Slovenia. This meeting marked a significant step towards enhancing international cooperation in the field of horticulture.

Accompanied by officers from the Agricultural sectors of Slovenia, Minister Podgoršek visited the office of Ms. Levi Sap Nei Thang, who is the advisor at the International Horticulture Association. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and explore opportunities for Slovenia to become more actively involved in horticulture on an international scale.

During the meeting, various key topics were discussed, including the importance of sustainable horticultural practices, the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and the promotion of horticultural products and technologies. Ms. Levi Sap Nei Thang shared insights and experiences from her extensive involvement in the International Horticulture Association, highlighting the benefits that international cooperation can bring to the horticulture industry.

Minister Podgoršek acknowledged the significance of horticulture in Slovenia and expressed his country’s eagerness to actively participate in global horticultural initiatives.
